On May 21, we were delighted to welcome the Telemarketing and Assembly teams from FEM CET — the Special Employment Center of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation — for an institutional visit to the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC). It was a truly enriching day for everyone, made possible thanks to the efforts of the Solidarity Initiatives and Membership teams at the Josep Carreras Foundation.

The main goal of this visit was to bring our collaborators closer to the research work carried out at the IJC through an educational tour of the facilities.

During the visit, attendees had the opportunity to learn about the scientific work firsthand from Dr. Gaël Roué, Head of the Translational Research in Lymphoma group. Through his explanations, we explored the daily challenges of lab work, the most relevant scientific advances, and the next steps his team is planning to continue improving the lives of people living with lymphoma.

This experience also allowed our colleagues from FEM CET to discover the Foundation’s strong commitment to research and the mission we support at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, where more than 40 lines of research are currently underway, with the collaboration of nearly 400 researchers united by a single goal: to make leukemia and other hematological diseases 100% curable, for everyone and in every case.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the FEM CET team for their visit, their curiosity, and their engagement. Together, we are stronger — and together, we will never stop fighting against leukemia!
