The Sociedad Española de Hematología y Hemoterapia (SEHH) and Josep Carreras Foundation against Leukemia have signed a framework agreement to strengthen the training of their members, develop research activities, scientific events, and exchange information that may be of interest to the purposes of both entities.
The signing took place at the headquarters of the Josep Carreras Foundation in Barcelona, attended by Dr. María Victoria Mateos, hematologist and president of SEHH, and Josep Carreras, founder and president of the Foundation that bears his name.
Scientific cooperation between both entities is materialized through this agreement, which will be implemented by means of specific accords. This is the case of the agreement for the printing and dissemination of the Manual of Germ Cell Neoplasms, which aims to consolidate and spread the most recent advances in this field, or the agreement for the dissemination of the Coral program, focused on the needs of young patients with acute leukemias or aggressive lymphomas in non-clinical areas: social, informational, emotional, etc.
The signing of the framework agreement represents a new step forward in promoting scientific research and the dissemination of knowledge in Hematology.
