New job opportunity at the Spanish Bone Marrow Donor Registry (REDMO)

At the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Foundation, we are opening a new recruitment process to hire a Donation Process Coordinator to join the Spanish Bone Marrow Donor Registry (REDMO) team, based in Barcelona.

We are looking for someone to manage and coordinate haematopoietic stem cell donation processes, from initial scheduling through to the completion and closure of each case.

Key responsibilities will include supporting donors throughout the different stages of the donation process, as well as coordinating with donation centres, transplant centres, international registries and transport services. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the documentation associated with each process and managing any issues that may arise.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an organised, thorough and proactive individual, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to unforeseen circumstances and communicate clearly and empathetically.

Applicants must have a university degree, good IT skills and a high level of English.

Previous experience in the healthcare sector, process coordination, donor or patient support, as well as knowledge related to donation, haematology or transplantation, will be highly valued.

What do we offer?

The position is based at our Barcelona offices, with the possibility of hybrid working once the initial training and onboarding period has been completed.

We offer a permanent, full-time contract, specific training for the role and the opportunity to join a specialised, multidisciplinary and international team.
