New Videopodcast on Chronic GvHD

What is chronic GvHD? Why can it develop after a transplant? How does it affect the daily lives of those living with it? What role do caregivers play, and how should it be managed?

The latest episode of the videopodcast Imparables por un tubo answers these questions—and many more. It focuses on chronic graft-versus-host disease (chronic GvHD), one of the complications that can occur following a haematopoietic stem cell transplant.

In this episode, we are joined by Dr Carmen Martínez, haematologist at the Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Unit of Hospital Clínic Barcelona. The conversation also features Rubén Merchán, a transplant recipient living with chronic GvHD, and Mari Crespo, mother and caregiver of an Imparable patient. Their experiences and reflections provide complementary perspectives and give voice to the reality faced by many people.
