RAFESA’s commitment to the fight against leukaemia was demonstrated once again by their recent visit to the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute. The company has been an active supporter of our cause for many years, and this visit was to see first-hand the impact of their collaboration on scientific progress.
The visit was attended by Anna Escribano, CEO of RAFESA, and Santiago Sepúlveda, Operations Director, who toured the facilities accompanied by Martí Badal, from the Institute’s communications team, and Dr Francesc Soler, the centre’s scientific coordinator. During the tour, they were able to see first-hand the research projects underway, the Institute’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and the tireless work of our scientists to make leukaemia a 100% curable disease.
The support of companies like RAFESA is key to continuing to fund research and ensuring that patients have access to new therapies and more effective treatments. At the Josep Carreras Foundation, we greatly value the commitment of the business community to science and health, as their contribution brings us closer every day to a future without leukaemia.
