David Lloyd Clubs with the care of leukaemia

The collaboration between the Josep Carreras Foundation and David Lloyd Clubs is consolidated as a strategic alliance that unites sport, solidarity and social commitment. Through the transfer of advertising spaces in their centers, the organization of solidarity sports initiatives and awareness campaigns in their facilities, David Lloyd actively contributes, from various approaches, to promote the Foundation’s mission.

Assignment of advertising spaces in clubs

During the months of October and November 2025, they ceded the advertising spaces of their facilities to give visibility to our brand campaign “For music does not stop, research against leukaemia does not stop”, amplifying the scope of our message.

Promoting solidarity sports initiatives

David Lloyd clubs in Barcelona, Malaga and Gava have promoted various solidarity sports activities, involving partners and their team in actions that promote awareness and support for people with leukaemia and other hematological diseases. These initiatives highlight sport as a tool for social transformation and a channel for solidarity participation.

Awareness campaign and fundraising

Another of the main milestones of this collaboration has been the awareness and recruitment campaign carried out during 2025 in different David Lloyd clubs in Barcelona, Gava, Zaragoza, Malaga and Madrid, which has allowed the incorporation of 273 new members to the Foundation. These figures reflect the commitment of the David Lloyd community and its direct involvement with the cause.
