José Carreras receives the 2011 St. Moritz Award for his decation against Leukaemia

Every year, the St. Moritz Award is bestowed upon different international personalities, who use their fame for solidarity purposes.

During the award ceremony in St. Moritz, José Carreras performed a small musical repertoire. Another of those honoured on the night was the Norwegian Olympic skater Johann Olav Koss and his organization “Right to Play” which helps children in need.
