Josep Carreras interviews Dr. Francesc Solé, researcher at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute

The José Carreras Foundation is committed to scientific research as a way to find a definitive solution to haematological illnesses. Due to scientific advances, throughout recent history great discoveries have been made which have improved the treatments of some neoplasias like for example chronic myeloid leukaemia or promyelocytic leukaemia.

Currently we have intensified our scientific labour with the creation of the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute and this month Dr. Francesc Solé has just joined the team. He is a prestigious molecular biologist specialized in the research of myelodysplastic syndromes, a malignant homeopathy that specially affects the elderly population.
