On the 19th of October 2011, we received confirmation of our compliance with the Health on the Net foundation’s code of conduct. The Health on the Net Foundation’s HON code of conduct for medical and health websites is centered around one of the most important issues for health websites: the credibility of the information. – “Accredited Medical Website” certification from the Official College of Doctors
On the 16th of November 2011, we received a renewal of our “Accredited Medical Website” certification form the Official College of Doctors. “Accredited Medical Website” is a measure of quality for web pages with medical information. It certifies through a process of revision that the websites which voluntarily adhere to the programme comply with the agreed requisites of quality. It aims to create a virtual community of trust on the internet for both general users and medical professionals. “The Web Favourites” Award by Diario Médico and Correo Farmacéutico
In 2011, we were the winners of “The 2011 Web Favourites in the field of Health” Award. We won in the Patients section in the Foundations and associations category. The awards were decided by newspapers; Diario Médico and Correo Farmacéutico.
