GIVE LIFE VALUE 2013. 210 patients and former patients have gone out into the streets to give a hopeful message to society

These patients have been present in 16 different autonomous communities and 32 Spanish provinces. The purpose was no other than raising funds and sensitizing society on the fight against leukaemia and other haematological malignancies.

The José Carreras Foundation has set a very important challenge for this campaign that will help patients who suffer from leukaemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other haematological malignancies: raise 10,000€ through text messages in order to open up a new line of scientific research. This research line will be entirely focused on the complications and side effects caused by cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy or bone marrow transplants.
