Hello! I’m Núria and in July 2012 I was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia. This diagnosis was so shocking that it caused my life to take a 360º turn. I started with a medication which did not work as expected, so I was switched. This medication was aggressive, although I gradually improved, I experienced the side effects of these drugs. Despite this, I continue to move forward, especially knowing that I have the support of my family and the medical team.
I know that, thanks to research, many more people with leukaemia will be able to enjoy a longer life expectancy.
